
My first book was a contract book for Houghton-Mifflin's Elementary Reading series, The Magic Rock.
Terra Incognita
My first published short story was an sf piece in Terra Incognita magazine, entitled White Lies and Alibis. This story involves a space habitat orbiting Earth. The design is based on the Stanford Torus model, which can house up to 10,000 people in a mile-wide hollow ring. That design is also used in my Tween novel Treachery in The Sky. Of the many short stories I’ve written, I think Fossils and Fools is my favorite. It was given Honorable Mention by On The Premises magazine, and appears starting on page 50 at this pdf link:
